Mango Koshari

Our Mango Koshari celebrates the beloved Middle Eastern rice pudding with a luscious tropical transformation. We begin with our signature rice pudding base—a velvety blend of premium rice slowly simmered with milk, vanilla, and a whisper of cardamom until it achieves the perfect creamy consistency. Each serving is then adorned with generous slices of perfectly ripened mangoes, carefully selected for their sweet flavor and firm texture.

The crowning touch is a generous drizzle of our house-made mango sauce—a vibrant reduction created from premium Alphonso mangoes known for their intense sweetness and aromatic qualities. The sauce seeps gently into the pudding, creating beautiful golden swirls throughout the dessert while intensifying the tropical flavor profile. The contrast between the warm, comforting rice pudding and the cool, refreshing mango elements creates a dessert that's simultaneously familiar and exotic. This bright, uplifting variation has become especially popular during warmer months, offering a lighter alternative to more traditional Middle Eastern desserts while still honoring the authentic flavors and techniques. For the ultimate experience, enjoy with a cup of our fragrant Moroccan mint tea to complement the fruity notes.
